Considering selling my M1009 CUCV military K5 Blazer.

Paid $4,250 for it and put over $5000 in repairs not to mention all the time, so you can see why I’m still not sure I want to sell it.

I was planning to keep it forever, so I wanted everything done right:

Precision Paint Worx: 42 hours of paint and body work: painted inside and out ($2,300).

Replaced dented passenger door ($550),

Rapco Parts: GCI CARC Substitute paint – 383 Green ($100).

Strobel Auto Repair: Fix wiring short ($200).

Brothers: Window channel sets, rear window anti rattle, rear glass top seal, bed seals, upper head seals on bed and body ($550) LMC: Cab seal kit, lower side seals, body to frame webbing, window glass channel with seal, glass guide channel caps, end gate weatherstrip ($450)

Rock Auto: Tail lamps and side marker lamp assemblies ($30)

Mr. Auto Glass: windshield and rear tailgate glass ($400)

New Pacifica seats (E-bay) ($800): Not installed yet

Paid mechanic with 20 years of experience to completely go through it before I bought it.

It runs and drives great. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

Have not installed the new blackout lights or fixed the heater blower yet.

I also have the old spare 31×10.50×15 on the original rim.

Fire department in North Central Arkansas bought it from government auction, and they painted it red.

They performed all maintenance and kept it in excellent mechanical condition.

The price is firm, and I reserve the right to change my mind and not sell it.
