This is a 1985 Chevrolet military M1009 CUCV. 6.2 Diesel, auto trans, 4 wheel drive. This truck is 38 years old. Understand that before looking, asking stupid questions or making jackass comments.
It starts right up, goes forward, backward, stops. 4WD works in high and low range. As far as I know everything is original unless noted later. All glass is solid, no chips or cracks.
Replaced since 2022:
Rear end replaced with a complete NOS army issue rear end.
All new exhaust from manifolds to tail pipes.
New fuel tank.
Mechanical fuel pump replaced with electric fuel pump.
Water pump.
Harmonic balancer.
Vacuum pump.
Throttle cable.
Wiper motor/washer pump.
Plow pump electric motor is new, the pump may need to be replaced as it sometimes will not raise. Plow will need all new hoses too.
Tires have less then 5,000 miles on them.
I have the military front bumper, brush guard and hooks to go with it.
I also have a large pile of extra parts, including most window seals.
It’s not a beauty queen, and not going to win any car show awards. But it turns heads whenever I drive it, which is several times a week.
