Summary / Our Take
This rig is a total custom build from a long time professional builder. Steven runs Green Monkey Coach Works in Sunlit Hills and has been building and modifying custom cars and trucks for decades. This K5 Blazer is one of his latest examples.
Stunning PPG Blue paint is the first thing you’ll notice on this rig. But a closer look reveals touches like a custom grille, and front bumpers with LED lights built in; just a few of the hand built additions. You’ll also find a completely revamped interior with new upholstery, Dakota Digital gauges, and a 7” Boss infotainment system. Under the hood, its powered by a 5.3L LS engine, paired with a 4L60E automatic transmission and NP208 transfer case – all rebuilt.

Seller Write-Up
This custom 1983 Chevrolet K5 Blazer received a body off frame, full professional make over and customization.
– The body was stripped, all metal work completed, sealed with epoxy, shot in PPG Blue and White and finished with PPG 3000 clearcoat.
– Powered by a rebuilt 5.3L LS engine mated to a rebuilt 4L60E automatic transmission (including flex plate and converter) and rebuilt NP208 transfer case. New alternator, power steering pump, water pump, AC compressor. DynoMax dual exhaust. Champion aluminum radiator with aluminum shroud and dual electric fans.
– Frame was stripped, sealed with epoxy and painted with chassis black satin. The fully rebuilt suspension consists of new: stock height leaf springs, shocks, steering stabilizer. 4-wheel disk brakes with new: booster, master cylinder, rotors, calipers, pads and lines. 17-inch custom wheels wrapped in all terrain tires.
– Dakota Digital gauges, 7” Boss infotainment system, amplifier, 8 speakers. Custom interior with all new: upholstery, interior panels, headliner, carpeting, dash pad, visors. Custom rear interior panels house speakers and sub woofers. New front and rear seat belts.
– All new: rubber weatherstripping, black exterior mirrors, door handles, custom grille, custom bumpers with LED lights, lighting and trim. Windshield, rear glass and one-piece front windows are new including: window regulators, lift motors and lock actuators.
– All new wiring harness, engine wiring harness, relays for power windows and locks, programed ECU, battery.
– New: gas tank with sender and in-tank fuel pump. New: AC compressor, condenser, drier, and lines. Custom steps for easy access. Differentials serviced with new front hubs. New suspension and body bushings.
