1982 K5 Blazer
The awesome…
6 inch lift is very stable, almost no roll when cornering.
35×13.5×15 tires have a lot of life left. Good grip on nice rims. Recently rotated.
New brakes all around. Rotors, cylinders, shoes, etc.. (not just pads).
Warn hubs are about 3 years old I believe.
Holley 750 carb installed last year.
5 speed automatic trans w/overdrive. Great on hwy, off road, everywhere…
4 wheel drive works great.
Possibly more that I’m not thinking of. Very fun truck!
The bad…
Olds 455 motor has a knock.
Started stripping interior to rhino-line, but never finished.
Heater works, but only when manually plugged in under the hood.
No stereo.
Wouldn’t take much to finish making this rig into the sexy beast I wanted to turn it into. Current motor was getting awesome mpg. Now has a mean knock… Would replace motor, but woman said to get rid of it before baby is born. $2000 obo. Make an offer… Looking to sell quick, so who knows what kind of offer I might accept. Part trade is an option.
