1972 K5 Blazer 350 SB, AT, turbo 350 tranny. Just put $5500 (have receipts) in new 6″ skyjacker suspension lift, 35″ Nitto Trail Grappler tires (less than 100 mi), & 18″ Motto Metal wheels, SS Braided break lines, Extended Drive shaft & exhaust rework. In addition to that : New Edelbrock carb, starter, electronic distributor, plugs, wires, Optima off road battery. Aluminum Edebrock intake, Headers, New dash pad door panels, rear seat upholstery original and excellent shape. Four wheel drive fully functional. Motor runs very smoothly. Body is overall very Solid. It has your typical problem spots: Rear fender well openings, lower door, rocker panels not too bad, rocker boxes need to be replaced for sure .. Paint is not brand new. Double wall Top is in great shape.
So think of it like this: What would you pay for a 1972 K5 Blazer that was overall a solid ride but needed some love was by no means a show truck but you can hop in right now and cruise around or drive everyday if you wanted?…. With well over $6500 in new additions, take away all what I have put on it and you’d be getting a K5 for around $5000. Well worth that!! Bought it 2 1/2 yrs ago, put all those mods on it and haven’t driven it more than 300 miles ..I just trolled around town a little, took my boys back and forth to the baseball field in spring and summer, and drove it on Sunday’s to the in-laws house just down the street. The only reason I’m selling it is because my wife is on my back since I don’t drive it much and I have a couple other toys as well and frankly she just wants the money in the bank. I really don’t want to sell it but I would rather someone else drive it who can enjoy it more than I have time to. $12000 is a very fair price considering what I’ve done to it. I have had several offers on it already … you’re more than welcome to give me yours if you think $12k is not reasonable. Let me know if you would like to schedule a time to check it out. You can also text me at [REDACTED]. Thanks.
