Before it goes in Bring a Trailer in 2 week… lmk if anyone is interested, reserve is $100k.
The truck was purchased in 2019 from a classic car broker for $38k and was a frame off restoration with new paint at that time and had the stock 350 drivetrain with (I was told about 80k miles on it) and mostly original inside and out.
In 2020 I started a complete high-end resto-mod restoration with only the best parts and shops I could find. In 2021 most of the parts were purchased, everything was bough brand new including the 430hp GM crate motor from Summit, 4L60E Monster transmutation, fuel system, AC, interior, audio system and so much more.
Fast forward 3 years and a few different shops along the way (OS Performance started the build and Vintage Modern Performance finished it, both in Charleston SC) and the truck was completed just a few months ago. The current total spent on the truck, parts and labor with receipts for everything is $132,897.
Currently there is only 700 miles on everything since complete (probably will go up as I will be driving it)
Here are some of the features and parts used.
Cadillac power leather seats, 4 speed auto 4L60E, led lighting (inside, under dash and headlights and taillights), amazing 10” floating Kenwood stereo with Carplay, backup camera and Rockford 12” sub with Kicker amp & 6 Polk speakers, 3″ custom exhaust and headers, Dakota digital gauges with bluetooth app, Lokar shifter and led boot, dual steering stabilizers, custom roller with pads, power windows & door locks, Vintage AC with digital controls, new gas tank/pump, new aluminum dual fan radiator, new Tahoe console, sound deadening material everywhere, alarm system with remote start, chrome hydronic hood hinges, double wall top, Wilwood, 4 wheel discs, custom paint, 3 sets of different wheels and tires (all new). Double wall top (black) in amazing condition.
No expense was spared on this (have all docs and build sheet receipts) too many options to list.
The stock 4WD Transfer case was removed, the plan was to re-instal an Atlas 4WD case and new 4WD high/low shifter but the transfer case was on backorder for over a year, so currently it’s only 2WD but can easily be updated for about $2500 in parts and labor.
