Rare Full-Length Removable Hardtop (1973 thru 1975 only). Great Soft-Top Convertable Potential!
79k original miles and owned for 20+ years. Starts, runs, & drives great – mechanically reliable. Not modified, cut, or lifted. Mostly original & intact but has some body rust-thru spots.
The 1973-1975 year models are highly sought after for the full-length removeable top. But you won’t find many unrestored early “square body” K5’s without significant modifications, missing parts, or un-salvageable damage & deterioration. You may be aware of the prices that the resto-mods and preserved low-mileage originals are going for. But if not, just look at the sale histories on BaT and Hagerty’s.
This truck is not in a preserved or rust-free condition, but it is fully intact, mostly original, and runs/drives great. It has low mileage for its age and the interior is original including the dash, center console, front & rear seats, steering wheel, trim paneling, visors, and front/rear rubber flooring.
It had a prior mechanical restoration & was repainted in the mid-1990’s. Functional mechanical upgrades include HEI ignition, gear reduction starter, re-built transmission, 31-gallon polyethylene gas tank with new fuel sender, new fuel gauge, new blower motor, re-upholstered front seats, & some weatherstripping replacement. Have new, uninstalled weatherstripping for hardtop.

I am very interested in this truck but it is very expensive for the shape its in. Yes the truck runs I am aware of that but there is rust damage, also it needs a few new parts. I am hoping you would be able to lower the price or maybe negotiate with me on this. Thanks.
