AI Summary
This has been barn-stored since new and remains well-preserved with original Mariner Blue and Frost White paint and several period 1970s add-ons. The body is in excellent shape with only minor rust pinholes, and the frame is solid with surface rust but no floorboard perforation. Recent work includes a new exhaust, new shocks, and an engine tune-up. It runs and drives well but still reflects its age in bushings, steering, and its early-1980s lift kit. Suitable for short local drives, it’s best trailered for longer distances.

Seller Write-Up
I purchased this one owner K5 Blazer from the widow of the original owner three years ago, so officially it is actually two-owner truck. It was kept inside their barn since new and is a bit of a time capsule with aftermarket 70’s style add-ons including a T-bar shift handle, grab bars, billet grille, window stickers, etc.
It has been under cover and stored in my barn since purchased. Overall the body is in excellent condition, including original Mariner Blue & Frost White paint, with a few minor pinholes starting in the normal places, including one above the rear wheel well. I’ve included a link to multiple photographs of the Blazer from the point when I picked it up and going through small improvements, including new carpet, headliner dash cover, etc. The frame is solid and show signs of under coating that had been installed one new according to the previous owner. Much of it has flaked off and surface. Rust covers a majority of the under side. However, nothing has broken through the floorboards at any time.
There’s a video at the link provided that shows the driver floorboard with surface rust, but nothing going through.
I had a new exhaust installed and we installed new shocks and completed an engine tuneup shortly after it was purchased. It starts and runs well and drives and stops great. But, it definitely needs to be updated in terms of bushings steering, etc. The original owner had a lift kit and 35″ tires installed in the early 80s.
Original white wagon wheels were prepped and repainted. With the age, lift kit, old bushings, etc., it is not surprising that it drives like a 50 year old truck. Could easily be driven home locally within 25-30 miles, but I recommend a trailer if you are traveling beyond that. I plan to add more photos to the link this weekend, including the undercarriage and exterior.
Located near Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Cash purchase on pick up.
