I’m selling my 1983 K5 Blazer Diesel. $4950 obo. It runs great, just don’t have time to finish restoring her completely. I’ve put about $2,500 in new parts in since I bought it last year (have receipts), plus a new radio and speakers.
There are a few rusted through spots but overall looks great. I ripped out the carpet in the interior with plans of rhino lining the inside or something, so that still needs to be done. But the bed pan is completely intact with no rusted through spots, which is rare for anyone looking into K5’s.
I also have a new roll bar that comes with it that could be installed. It comes with the hard top shown in the picture, I just usually drive it with the top off.
The odometer reads 85,000 but as anyone buying these knows there’s no telling how many times that’s rolled over. I’d assume it’s on about 285,000 total from what the previous owner told me. I’ve put about 5,000 miles on it.

As you can see from the video and the pics, it’s a fun truck. Every time I think of selling I decide not to, just turns out I have too many hobbies and don’t have time for them all.
